Ellen Cousins, PhD, is a highly experienced professional in geospatial data science and innovation, currently serving as Chief Geospatial Data Scientist at KBR, Inc. since October 2024. Previously, Ellen held senior leadership positions at Athenium, including Chief Innovation Officer and Chief Science & Technology Officer, where responsibilities included leading diverse teams in data science and technology, and managing successful federal contracts. With a foundation in atmospheric research as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the National Center for Atmospheric Research and research experience at Dartmouth College, Ellen is adept in data mining, machine learning, and predictive modeling. Ellen holds a Ph.D. in Engineering Science from Dartmouth College, along with a Bachelor's Degree in the same field.
