Yerlan Kistaubayev has a strong background in IT architecture and software development. Yerlan is currently the Head of IT Architecture of Production Systems Department at Kazakhmys Corporation. Prior to this, they worked as the Head of Technical Department at Agricultural Credit Corporation from 2021 to 2022. From 2018 to 2021, they served as the Head of Information Technology Department at KazNU al-Farabi, where they were responsible for various projects including integration of anti-plagiarism systems, online settlement and payment modules, integration with attendance monitoring systems, designing analytical systems, and developing a new version of IPC "Univer 2.0" on ASP. Before that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer and Software Programmer at KazNU al-Farabi and as a Software Developer at HCSBK.

Yerlan Kistaubayev pursued their education in the field of Information Systems. Yerlan completed their Bachelor's degree in Information Systems from KBTU IT School, spanning from 2006 to 2010. Subsequently, they obtained a Master's degree in Information Systems from KazNU al-Farabi, studying from 2011 to 2013. Currently, Yerlan Kistaubayev is working towards a Ph.D. in Intelligent Control Systems from KazNU al-Farabi, starting in 2022.
