Povilas Simanaitis has extensive experience in software development, currently serving as Team Lead and Senior Software Engineer at KAYAK since August 2018. Prior to this role, Povilas worked as a Senior Frontend Developer at Aphix Software, where expertise included Elm, CouchDB, and mobile technologies. At TeleSoftas, Povilas led a team of developers on short-term projects, and at Adform, contributed to both new and legacy projects as a full-stack developer with a focus on frontend technologies. Early career experience includes internship roles and full-stack development at Moreta, where responsibilities encompassed creating custom themes, plugins, and optimizing websites. Povilas holds a Master’s Degree in Informatics and a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Software Engineering from Kaunas University of Technology.
