Joshua Cutler, EIT, is a Systems Integration Engineer at Kawasaki Rail Car since June 2017, having previously held the role of Engineering Intern. Notable contributions include the development of an internship position, streamlining information for 7000 electronic and mechanical parts for multiple rail projects through Visual Basic macros, and identifying discrepancies in manufacturing drawings. Joshua also provided CAD schematics for electrical integrations, estimated manufacturing costs, and gained insights into customer-supplier relations via NYCT design meetings. Prior experience includes serving as a Teaching Assistant at the STEM Institute at CCNY, where Joshua introduced high school students to engineering principles and oversaw robotics programming and troubleshooting. Joshua holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from The City College of New York and Macaulay Honors College, and a High School Diploma from The Summit School.
