Nicolas Neubauer is a seasoned professional in data science and analytics with extensive experience in leadership roles. Currently serving as Director of Shopping Experience at Kaufland e-commerce since September 2020, Nicolas has also held key positions such as Head of Product Shopping Experience and Head of Data Science within the same organization. Prior to this, Nicolas worked at PwC from April 2016 to August 2020 as Manager and Deputy Unit Head of Data & Analytics, as well as Technical Product Manager for Data & Analytics. Earlier experience includes a role as Lead Analytics Engineer at Instana and Consultant in Data Processing/Data Management at codecentric AG. Nicolas's academic background includes a Doctor rerum naturalium (Dr. rer. nat.) in Computer Science, a Master’s Degree in Computer Science, and a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics and Computer Science, all obtained from Universität Osnabrück between 2005 and 2014.
