Karen Lewis, CPA has extensive work experience in the field of accounting, with a focus on taxation. Karen began their career as an intern at ACM LLP in 2006, where they gained audit experience. Following this, they interned at Anderson & Whitney, PC while studying in college, gaining experience in tax preparation and client bookkeeping.

In 2007, Karen joined GHP Horwath, P.C. as a Tax Associate, where they continued to develop their tax expertise until 2009. Karen then worked as a Tax Accountant at Yribarren Group for a year before joining Deloitte in 2011 as a Tax Senior.

Karen's next career move was becoming a stay-at-home parent in 2016, during which time they managed their household and family responsibilities. Karen eventually returned to the workforce in 2020, joining KSM (Katz, Sapper & Miller) as a Tax Manager, and later transitioning to the role of Business Advisory Director in 2023.

Karen Lewis, CPA attended the University of Northern Colorado from 2002 to 2007, where they earned a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting. In addition to their degree, they are also a certified public accountant with a certification obtained from NASBA. The specific month and year of their CPA certification were not provided.
