Aisha N Montanez M. Ed currently serves as an Assistant Principal at Katy Independent School District (Katy ISD) since July 2024. Montanez is the Founder of Smart Girls Teach, a position held since June 2017. Prior experience includes serving as an Assistant Principal at Lamar Consolidated Independent School District (August 2018 - July 2024) and Alief Independent School District (August 2008 - July 2020), along with roles as an Instructional Technology Specialist and Business Education Teacher/Athletic Coach. Montanez began as a Business Education Teacher and Coach at Katy ISD (January 2008 - August 2008) and Houston Independent School District (August 2003 - January 2008). Educational qualifications include a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Southern University and multiple Master of Education degrees in Educational Leadership and Administration from Prairie View A&M University.
