Anna Fischer is a skilled multimedia journalist currently employed at KATC TV since August 2023. Previously, Anna worked at WKBT News 8 Now from January to May 2023, where responsibilities included creating PACS, VOSOTs, and live shots, writing scripts with Avid iNews, and producing online articles using WordPress and BLOX. Earlier experience at WXOW News 19, from May to September 2022, involved collecting video, conducting community interviews, scripting for anchors, and creating web stories; Anna was nominated as an Outstanding Intern for the UW-La Crosse’s 2023 Internship Showcase. Anna holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies with an emphasis on Public Communication and Advocacy from the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse, completed in May 2023.
