Syed Mehdi has extensive experience in subsurface data management and geoscience, currently serving as a Subsurface Data Consultant and Well & Seismic Data Quality Specialist at Katalyst Data Management since February 2017. Prior to this role, Syed worked as a Petroleum Geoscience Consultant at The Information Store, focusing on geological and geophysical data management using PPDM/PDMS and SQL tools. Syed's earlier experience includes a tenure at Anadarko Petroleum Co. as a Petroleum Geoscientist, overseeing seismic digital transformation projects, and various positions at ExxonMobil, where Syed identified unconventional hydrocarbon resources and managed geological data. Syed holds a Master of Science degree in Geology from Oklahoma State University and a Master's degree in Geology from Karachi University.
