Rajesh Perianayagam Ph.D. has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Rajesh is the Founder and CEO of Karyosoft Inc., where they established a genomics technology startup with a focus on empowering non-programming biologists to manage and transform genomics data into innovations.

Prior to this, Rajesh worked at Roche Diagnostics Middle East as a Lead Field Applications Specialist. Rajesh provided on-site customer training and technical support on Cedex instruments and applications to drive customer satisfaction.

Rajesh also has experience at Dow AgroSciences, where they held positions as an Associate Scientist/Maize Molecular Geneticist and a Senior Molecular Biologist. In these roles, they led various projects involving discovery and implementation of molecular markers, trait introgression, and genomics-assisted breeding.

Before joining Dow AgroSciences, Rajesh worked as a Post Doctoral Research Fellow at both the University of Missouri and Washington State University. Rajesh also served as a McKnight Foundation Visiting Research Fellow at Washington State University during their Ph.D. studies.
