Caroline Ingre is an Associate Professor and Research Group Leader focused on ALS at the Department of Clinical Neuroscience at Karolinska Institutet, where employment began in April 2020. In addition, Caroline Ingre serves as the Head of the ALS Center Karolinska and the Head of the ALS/MND national register at Karolinska University Hospital, positions held since December 2013. Caroline Ingre is also the founder of the ALS Treatment Center Karolinska and is a Specialist in Neurology. Educational qualifications include a Doctor of Medicine (MD) from Karolinska Institutet, completed through a Neurology Residency Program between 2006 and 2013, and a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Neurovetenskap from Umeå University.
