Jörg Duschmalé is a professional with extensive experience in the fields of chemistry and biotechnology. Currently, Jörg serves as a Member of the Board of Directors at Karger Publishers since November 2022 and as a Member of the Board and the Scientific Advisory Board at The PolG Foundation since March 2022. Additionally, Jörg has been a Board Member at Roche since March 2020 and previously held the role of Postdoctoral Researcher at Roche from March 2015 to September 2018, focusing on oligonucleotide chemistry and RNA therapeutics. Prior to these roles, Jörg worked as a Research Assistant at swisscleantech, contributing to sustainable resource use and climate policy research. Jörg completed a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Chemistry at ETH Zürich and the University of Basel and holds a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from the University of Basel.
