Alexis Rogers is an accomplished journalist and community leader currently serving as the Anchor and Community Relations Manager at KARE 11 since October 2023, where the role focuses on viewer connection and community outreach. As the Founder and President of Lisa's Girls Inc since May 2010, Alexis has dedicated efforts to empower BIPOC women and girls, aiming to reshape leadership through intergenerational change. Previous experience includes roles as Evening Anchor & All Indiana Co-Host at WISH-TV and Reporter/Anchor at Hearst Television, alongside significant positions at KATV, Newsy, and KOMU-TV, where Alexis developed a strong foundation in storytelling and news production. Leadership capabilities were further exemplified as President of the National Association of Black Journalists' student chapter, and Alexis holds a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri-Columbia.
