Bastian Liske is an experienced professional in safety engineering and operations management. Currently serving as Production Manager and Assistant Vice President Operations at Kao Chemicals GmbH since January 2019, Bastian has previously held leadership roles in safety analysis and risk management at Steinbeis Transferzentrum für integrative Sicherheit from 2017 to January 2019. Bastian’s extensive background includes scientific positions at Bergische Universität Wuppertal, focusing on safety engineering, explosion protection, and process safety from 2015 to 2018, as well as early career experience as a Junior Process Engineer at Kao Chemicals GmbH and an intern in fire brigade and site security at BASF Coatings GmbH. Bastian holds a Master of Science in Safety Engineering/Fire Engineering from Bergische Universität Wuppertal and a Bachelor of Science in Chemical and Process Engineering from FH Münster.
