Sandro Betschart has a robust background in environmental protection and management, currently serving as a member of the Fachgremium at Aufsichtskommission Vierwaldstättersee since January 2015 and as a technical specialist in water protection at Kanton Schwyz since May 2014. Betschart has engaged in various roles related to environmental conservation, including volunteering with Waipoua Forest Trust and working with WWF Schweiz. Educational qualifications include a CAS in Management Grundlagen für die öffentliche Verwaltung from Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, a CAS in Phytobenthos from ZHAW School of Life Sciences and Facility Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Engineering with a focus on Natural Management.
