Erich Hofer is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in IT management and leadership within various organizations. Currently serving as the Chairman of AG Workplace and AG OSS at Schweizerische Informatikkonferenz SIK since January 2013, Erich also holds the position of Chief Information Officer at the Kanton Bern for the Bau- und Verkehrsdirektion since June 2008. Prior to these roles, Erich was a leader in software development at the Swiss Broadcast Corp from May 1988 to May 2008. Erich's academic credentials include a Master's degree in IT Management from Berne University of Applied Sciences (2011-2012), and an eidg. dipl. in Kader-Wirtschaftsinformatiker from the Swiss Institute for Operation Economics (1995-1998), complemented by studies at ZfU International Business School (2005-2007).
