Varshita Sharma is a skilled data scientist with experience in building statistical machine learning and deep learning models, particularly in the healthcare domain. Currently employed at Kantar since July 2024, Varshita previously contributed to Accenture from September 2023 to June 2024 as a data scientist. Prior to that, Varshita worked at Carelon Global Solutions as a deep learning researcher, developing a Named Entity Recognition model with a 99.5% accuracy rate for de-identification of sensitive patient information. In addition to technical roles, Varshita served as the Head Placement Coordinator at the Office of Career Services at IIT Hyderabad, ensuring effective placement processes. Earlier experience includes internship coordination and a Python development internship at Nestlé, where a project focused on automating report generation was completed. Varshita holds a Master of Technology in Artificial Intelligence from the Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad and a Bachelor of Technology in Computer Science from KRISHNA Institute of Engineering and Technology, Ghaziabad.
