Julian Montes is an experienced professional currently serving as a Field Representative for the Kansas Department of Commerce and the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission. Previously, Julian held a variety of roles at the Kansas Leadership Center from July 2018 to the present, progressing from Front Office/Event Assistant to Creative Services Manager. Additionally, Julian contributed as a Technical Advisor for the Kansas Hispanic & Latino American Affairs Commission and worked as a DEI Consultant for the Kansas Creative Arts Industries Commission. Julian's involvement in the Tallgrass Film Association as a Board Member and leadership in communications for the Young Latino Professionals of Wichita further showcase a commitment to community engagement and advocacy. Julian holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology from Newman University, attained between 2015 and 2018.
