Julian Montes is an experienced professional with a background in program coordination, creative services, and community engagement. Currently serving as a Program Coordinator at the Kansas Hispanic Education & Development Foundation since December 2024, and as a Field Representative for the Kansas Arts Commission since July 2023, Julian has previously held pivotal roles such as Creative Services Manager at the Kansas Leadership Center and Technical Advisor at the Kansas Hispanic & Latino American Affairs Commission. With additional expertise as a DEI Consultant and involvement with organizations like the Tallgrass Film Association and Young Latino Professionals of Wichita, Julian combines a strong foundation in psychology from Newman University with a commitment to enhancing diversity and inclusion in the arts and education sectors.
