Carol Levers has extensive experience in library management, currently serving as the Director of Libraries for Kansas City, Kansas Public Library since July 2010. Previously, Carol held the position of Branch Manager for the Argentine Public Library, overseeing 16 staff members and managing all operations at the only remaining Carnegie library in the Kansas City area. Carol's career includes roles as Reference Librarian and Weekend Building Supervisor at Kansas City Public Library, as well as Community Services Librarian and Volunteer Coordinator at Kansas City Kansas Public Library. Carol holds a Master's degree in Library Science from Emporia State University and a Bachelor's degree in Human Resources and Management from Park University.
