Amanda Schlumpberger currently serves as the Policy and Research Director at the Kansas Appleseed Center for Law and Justice, a position held since May 2023. Prior to this role, Amanda was a Performance Auditor at the Kansas Legislative Post Audit from December 2015 to May 2023. Additional experience includes positions as Project Coordinator and Research Assistant at the KU Center for Research on Learning from October 2014 to October 2015, and as a Dissertation Fellow at the Truman Library Institute from September 2013 to August 2014. Amanda's academic background includes a Doctor of Philosophy in American History from The University of Kansas, completed in 2015, and a Master’s Degree in American History from the same institution, earned in 2011.
