Elie Tournier has a diverse work experience spanning from 2013 to the present. In 2013, they worked as a Testing Technician Intern at the Laboratoire de Physique Subatomiques et de Cosmologie. From 2013 to 2016, they were a Student Software Engineer at THALES ELECTRON DEVICES - XRIS, where they designed and programmed automated tests for X-ray detectors and developed image quality characterization tools. In 2016, they worked as a Student V&V Engineer at CMT, where they conducted HMI reviews and performed regression/non-regression tests.

In 2016, Elie Tournier also had an internship at Google as a GSoC Student Software Engineer, focusing on implementing a library of double precision operations in GLSL. From 2017 to 2020, they were at Collabora, first as an Associate Graphics Software Engineer, where they worked on projects involving OpenGL and virtual 3D GPU, and then as a Graphics Software Engineer, taking part in design efforts and continuous integration initiatives.

In 2020, Elie Tournier joined Groupe SII as a Software Engineer and later joined Kalray in the same role.

Elie Tournier's education history begins in 2009 when they attended Lycée Hector Berlioz and obtained their A level degree in Physical Sciences. Elie then pursued further education at Université Joseph Fourier (Grenoble I) from 2011 to 2013, where they earned a DUT degree in Physics and Measurement Processes. Later, from 2013 to 2016, they attended Télécom Physique Strasbourg and completed their Engineer's degree in Information & Communication Technology (ICT) in Healthcare. During their time at Télécom Physique Strasbourg, their field of study encompassed various subjects such as information technology, programming, medical devices, signal and image processing, and optic.
