Dr. Moritz von Hesberg, MBA, is a Partner at DLA Piper, where since April 2020, there has been involvement in the development of international practices focusing on Corporate/M&A and Corporate Compliance, while also working on expanding the Africa Desk. As a Co-Founder of kalialab GmbH since August 2021, Dr. von Hesberg contributes to innovative ventures. Previous experience includes a Principal Associate role at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and a legal position at Gleiss Lutz, specializing in Corporate law and Economic Criminal Law. Dr. von Hesberg holds an MBA from the Graduate School of Business at the University of Cape Town and a distinguished academic background in law from Bucerius Law School and Friedrich-Alexander-Universität Erlangen-Nürnberg, where research focused on liability and sanctions within corporate contexts.
