Jeffrey Benabio, MD, MBA, is a board-certified dermatologist currently serving as the Dermatology Chief of Service and Partner Physician at Kaiser Permanente since July 2007, where Jeffrey also holds the position of Physician Director of Healthcare Transformation, focusing on innovation and virtual care. Jeffrey's extensive experience includes serving as the National Media Spokesperson for the American Academy of Dermatology from 2012 to 2022, and as a syndicated columnist for IMNG Medical Media, contributing monthly columns on digital medicine. Additionally, Jeffrey has appeared as an On-Air Medical Expert for U-T San Diego and KUSI Television, and has served on the External Advisory Board for the Mayo Clinic. Academic qualifications include an MD from Wake Forest University, an MBA from the University of California, San Diego, and an Executive Education degree in Organizational Leadership from Cambridge Judge Business School, among other educational achievements.
