Perry Alagappan started their work experience as a Researcher at Rice University in June 2012 and worked until June 2016. Perry then joined NASA as a Product Engineer, where they created a dynamic data visualization module for the Solar Probe Plus Mission from June to September 2016. In July 2017, Perry worked at Vopak as part of the N Fellowship program, focusing on IoT sensors and Optic Fiber Sensing. From July to September 2018, they worked at Arch Systems in engineering and product management roles. In June 2019, Perry joined Zipline as a Simulation Engineer on the Detect & Avoid team, where they worked until September 2019. Perry then became a Mayfield Fellow at Stanford Technology Ventures Program from February 2019 to January 2020. In January 2020, Perry became a Graduate Teaching Assistant at Stanford University, where they taught and graded for an Electrical Engineering course until April 2021. In November 2020, Perry joined the US Army as a Commissioned Officer and Engineer Officer. Currently, they are working as a Hardware Integration Engineer at Kairos Aerospace since February 2022.
Perry Alagappan attended Clear Lake High School from 2011 to 2015. Following their high school education, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering at Stanford University from 2015 to 2019. Perry then continued their academic journey at Stanford University, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from 2018 to 2020.
