Kenneth Ting Woo-Shou

Chairman at Kader Industrial

Chairman of Kader Industrial Company Limited, Mr. Kenneth Ting Woo-shou continues to lead the Company from strength to strength. After attaining his degree in Engineering from the University of Illinois, he joined the Company in 1968 and came up through the ranks under the traditional Chinese apprenticeship system. He became Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of Kader Industrial Company Limited in 1979.

He oversaw the Company’s move of its manufacturing operations from Hong Kong

to China and was successful in listing Kader’s parent company Kader Holdings Company Limited on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange in 1985.

His public service record includes his participation in many civic, industrial and governmental bodies, such as his being elected to the Hong Kong Legislative Council, representing of the Industrial (First) Functional Constituency from

1998 - 2004. Mr. Kenneth Ting also served as the Chairman of the Federation of Hong Kong Industries from 2004-2007 and as a member of the Jiangsu and Guangdong Provincial Committee of the Chinese People’s Political Consultative Conferences.

In recognition to his contributions to the industry, Mr. Kenneth Ting was awarded a Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008 from his peers at the Hong Kong Toys Manufacturers’ Association.
