Sean Smillie is an experienced creative professional with a diverse background in game production, narrative direction, and project management. Currently serving as Executive Producer and Narrative Director at Kabam since January 2023, Sean creates fiction, sets visions, and manages teams. As the Exec. Producer, Writer, and Creative Director at Planet Fiction Studios since 2013, Sean offers freelance services in producing and creative development. Previous roles include overseeing game production at Bkom Studios, leading the Kootenay Association for Science & Technology as Executive Director, and managing projects at RainbowVerse Studios. Sean has also contributed to academia as an instructor at The University of British Columbia, where six courses in video game writing were developed. With experience at leading companies like Electronic Arts, Ubisoft, and Walt Disney, Sean has established a strong reputation in the gaming industry.
