Smita Njeru, RPh, MBA, CHC has a diverse work experience in the pharmacy and healthcare industry. Smita joined KabaFusion in 2019 as the VP of Regulatory Compliance. Prior to that, Smita worked at Tenet Healthcare from 2011 to 2019, serving as the Director of Pharmacy. Smita also held the position of Director of Pharmacy at UHS from 2007 to 2011. Earlier in their career, Smita worked as a Pharmacy Manager at Target from 2005 to 2007 and CVS Pharmacy from 2002 to 2005. Smita started their career as a Pharmacist in the South African Department of Health from 1999 to 2001.

Smita Njeru, RPh, MBA, CHC holds a Bachelor of Pharmacy (B.Pharm.) degree from Nelson Mandela University, which was obtained from 1995 to 1999. In 2018, they completed their Master of Business Administration (MBA) at the University of California, Irvine - The Paul Merage School of Business. Additionally, Smita Njeru obtained certification in healthcare compliance, specifically the Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) designation, from the Compliance Certification Board (CCB), SCCE & HCCA, in January 2020.
