William Silverthorn has had extensive work experience in the field of cryptology and systems engineering. William began their career in 1999 as a Cryptologic Technician in the US Navy, where they served until 2004. Following this, they joined the US Navy Reserve as a Chief Cryptologic Technician in 2004. Most recently, in 2018, they worked as a Systems Engineer at KAB Laboratories, Inc.

From 2011 to 2015, William Silverthorn attended San Diego State University, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering.
