Matheus Magenta is a software engineer with experience in both corporate and freelance environments. Currently employed at KaarbonTech Asset Management since October 2022, Matheus previously worked as a freelancer from May 2021 to October 2022, specializing in web development with technologies such as JavaScript, React, Node.js, Express, and MongoDB. Prior to transitioning to software engineering, Matheus held various roles in journalism, including producer at BBC News and culture editor, deputy managing editor, and producer at Folha de São Paulo, where responsibilities included managing content for multiple print and digital products. Matheus began the career as a photojournalist at Grupo A Tarde in 2008. Educational qualifications include a Master of Business Administration in Artificial Intelligence & Machine Learning from FIAP and a degree in Communication with a focus on Journalism from Universidade Federal da Bahia.
