Joe Thompson is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as a Specialist in Analysis Services at K2 Management since April 2018. Prior to this role, Joe worked as a Renewable Energy Analyst at EMEC: The European Marine Energy Centre and held positions including Metocean Data Manager, Marine Energy Consultant at Seametric Consulting, and Operations Engineer at Pelamis Wave Power. Joe began their career as a Data Technician at EMEC. Educationally, Joe holds a Master's Degree in Marine Renewable Energy from the University of Plymouth and a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering and Product Design from the University of Glasgow.
