Michael Casertano is a legal professional with extensive experience in labor and employment law. Currently serving as Senior Counsel and Compliance Counsel at Justworks since July 2019, Michael has a solid background in legal practice, having worked at JONES DAY® as a Labor & Employment Associate from October 2014 to June 2019. Early in the career, Michael gained valuable experience as a Legal Intern at the California Department of Justice and held significant legislative roles for Mayor Michael R. Bloomberg and New York City Council Member Simcha Felder. Michael holds a JD from the University of California, Los Angeles - School of Law and a BA in Individualized Study: Political Theory from NYU Gallatin.
