In their roles, Cathy has specialized in creating engaging web and mobile application experiences, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and leveraging insights from user research and market trends. Cathy has co-managed a team to design an advertising management desktop application, collaborated with a mentor at Google to enhance their design skills, and volunteered at The Museum of Modern Art to prototype and design innovative concepts. Cathy has also designed AI personal assistants for Ford, delivered a customer-centric web-based sales tool for Michelin, and assisted with go-to-market strategies and product launches for Spotify. Cathy Tung has pursued a diverse education path, starting with their Bachelor's degree studies at Nanjing University from 2010 to 2014. During this time, they obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) in Advertising and Communication and also earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Biological Science.
Cathy's educational journey continued at the School of Visual Arts, where they enrolled from 2021 to 2023 to pursue a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree with a focus on Product Design, specifically in the field of Human-Computer Interaction (HCI).
