Katrina Whelchel is an experienced professional in organizational management and program development, currently serving as the Interim Director at the Junior League of Charlotte since May 2016. In this role, Katrina oversees daily operations while evaluating a new staffing model. Previously, Katrina worked as the Community Impact Project Coordinator at the YMCA of Greater Charlotte, managing a recognized literacy program and facing challenges with software systems. As the owner of Sweetbean, LLC, Katrina provided guidance to individuals and small business owners in achieving effective workflows and organizational clarity. Katrina also served as Executive Director at the Junior League of Charlotte and worked as a Training Analyst at Bank of America. Educationally, Katrina holds a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Auburn University.
