Veera Laitinen has a diverse work experience in various roles and industries. In 2016, they took part in a case study on technology used in a mobile banking application for J.P. Morgan. Veera then worked as a Customer Experience Assistant at Euroloan Group Plc in 2017, where they focused on case studies and data collection. In 2018, they interned as an Operational Management Intern at Fidelity International, developing proposals and project management systems.

From 2019 to 2021, Veera worked as an FSO Advisory Consultant at Ernst & Young, specializing in financial regulation mapping, stress testing, and data analysis for reports. In 2021, they joined Dagmar as an Analytics Consultant, where they worked on data-driven solutions and client relationships. Veera later became a Client Executive and Data Analyst, managing projects and presenting results to clients.

In 2022, Veera had two roles concurrently. Veera worked as a Business & Integration Architecture Senior Analyst at Accenture, leading a multinational data migration project. Veera also served as the UN Ocean Conference Strategic Engagement and Investor Pitch Lead at the United Nations, focusing on coral reef conservation.

Veera then joined Smartbi in 2022 as a Project Manager, overseeing project timelines and deliverables. In 2024, they became the COO of Junction, a non-profit hackathon and technology community, where they organize tech events and workshops globally.

In 2018, Veera co-founded LRV Corp. Ltd and served as the Sustainability and Communications Manager, working towards a plastic waste-free world by 2035.

Veera Laitinen completed their Finnish Matriculation Examination at Etelä-Tapiola's high school from 2013 to 2016. They then pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and Economics at Newcastle University from 2016 to 2019. Afterwards, they attended the University of Helsinki and obtained both a Bachelor's and Master's Degree in Environmental and Natural Resources Economics from 2023 to 2028. Additionally, Veera received a certification in Microsoft Office Excel 2010, Level 2 and 3 from Fidelity International in 2018. They also briefly studied Creative Writing at Kriittinen korkeakoulu in 2023.
