Anatoly Preygel is a highly experienced quantitative researcher currently at Jump Trading LLC since May 2017, and co-founder and CTO of Pyxidr, focusing on analytics in industrial and commodity-related sectors since February 2016. Previously, Anatoly served as an engagement manager at McKinsey & Company, providing expertise on analytics, strategy, risk management, and mergers and acquisitions from July 2014 until February 2016. In addition, a faculty member at The Data Incubator in June 2014, Anatoly contributed to the development of the curriculum for a data science bootcamp for PhDs. Anatoly held a postdoctoral research fellowship at UC Berkeley from September 2012 to July 2014 and completed a PhD in Mathematics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from September 2007 to June 2012, following an AB in Mathematics from Harvard University. Early career experiences include internships at Amaranth Advisors LLC and Booz Allen Hamilton, among others.
