Arjen Van der Meer is an experienced maritime professional with a career spanning over two decades, primarily with Jumbo Maritime. Currently serving as Captain, Chief Officer, and Offshore Construction Manager since November 2016, Arjen has significant expertise in offshore operations, including managing the installation of turbine platforms at the Butendiek Offshore Wind Farm. Previous roles include Captain on the M.V. Jumbo Vision and the heavy lift carrier Fairlane, as well as Shift Supervisor on the DPII heavy lift vessel Fairplayer. Earlier in the career, Arjen held positions including Deck Foreman for significant offshore wind farms and 2nd Officer with Jumbo Shipping. Arjen holds a degree in Maritime Officer from Maritiem Instituut IJmond.
