Oliver Bartholet

Chief Risk Officer at Julius Baer

Oliver Bartholet currently serves as the Chief Risk Officer and a member of the Executive Board at Julius Baer since March 2018. Concurrently, Oliver is the Vice Director at the Institute of Financial Services (IFF) at Universität St.Gallen and lectures in the Master of Law & Economics program, focusing on Law & Economics of Regulated Markets and Business Ethics. In addition, Oliver is a board member at the Europa Institut an der Universität Zürich. Prior to this, Oliver held several key positions at UBS from 2004 to March 2018, including Head of Legal Regulatory Affairs & Strategic Initiatives and Global Head of Tax, contributing significantly to group legal and compliance strategies. Oliver's academic experience also includes roles at Universität St.Gallen from 2016 to 2018, where lectures focused on globalisation, enterprises, risk, and risk management. Oliver holds a Ph.D. from the University of Basel and is a qualified Attorney-at-Law and CFA®.
