John F. serves as Principal at Julian.capital since February 2024, focusing on seed stage deep tech investments with an emphasis on climate tech. John also holds a part-time position as Diligence Lead and COO at Deep Checks, a platform facilitating connections between deep tech founders and thesis-fit investors. Previously, John was an Investment Partner at Dorm Room Fund from October 2019 to July 2024 and advised Perimeter as a Board Advisor. Additionally, John has experience as Chief of Staff at both a stealth startup in climate tech and Perimeter, where product strategy and management played key roles. John has a diverse background in music, having served as a lead singer and musician for various bands, alongside founding a clothing company in high school. John holds a Bachelor's degree in Data Science from the University of California, Berkeley, alongside a certificate in Entrepreneurship and Technology from UC Berkeley College of Engineering.
