Chris Foster has a strong background in software engineering and development. Chris started their career as a Research Analyst Programmer at Ergon Energy in 2012, where they worked until 2014. Following this, they joined Fugro Roames as a Software and algorithm development lead, leading a team in the research and development of large scale geospatial data processing and feature recognition. Chris then worked at the Translational Research Institute Australia as a Programmer Translation Scientist from 2018 to 2020. Chris is currently a Software Engineer at Julia Computing, starting in 2020.

Chris Foster earned a PhD in theoretical physics from The University of Queensland. No specific start or end dates were provided for this educational experience.
