Daniel Newman currently serves as the Production and Woodflow Manager at Juken New Zealand (JNL) since October 2021, focusing on planning and implementing strategies for harvesting, wood flow, and log cartage. Prior to this role, Daniel held the position of Forest Supervisor at Mangatu Blocks Inc. from November 2017 to September 2021, where responsibilities included overseeing quality forest operations and ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards. Daniel's experience also encompasses roles as a Logger at Grapple Yarding Services, Coal Quality Coordinator at Yancoal Australia Limited, and a Lab Technician at Indevin New Zealand. Earlier positions include Senior Project Geologist at Bandanna Energy Limited and multiple roles in coal quality and exploration geology at Yancoal Australia Limited. Daniel holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Forest Science and Management from Southern Cross University and a Bachelor of Science in Earth Science from The University of Waikato.
