Michelle Zhou has extensive work experience in the field of artificial intelligence and human-computer interaction. Michelle is the Co-Founder and CEO of Juji, Inc., where they lead the development and commercialization of cognitive AI beings. Michelle also served as the Editor-in-Chief of ACM Transactions on Interactive Intelligent Systems, a premier journal at the intersection of AI and HCI. Prior to this, they were the Co-Founder and CEO of Juj.io. Michelle has worked at IBM in various roles, including Senior Manager and Senior Research Manager at IBM Watson Group/IBM Research, Almaden. Michelle initiated and led research efforts on individualized experiences at scale and analytics-driven social computing. Michelle also worked at IBM T J Watson Research Center as a Research Manager and Research Staff Member, focusing on context-sensitive conversational information interaction and automated graphics generation. Their work has contributed to major scientific advances in the field.
Michelle Zhou obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Computer Science from Columbia University in 1999. Michelle also attended Michigan State University and Fudan University, but the specific degrees or fields of study for those institutions are unknown.
