Jhe-Bang Ko, also known as Simon Ko, is a software engineer currently employed at Meta since August 2022, where work involves post-impression data delivery for machine learning ranking models within the ads infrastructure. Prior experience includes a role as a research assistant at the Institute of Information Science, Academia Sinica, where focus was on adversarial certified defense and resulted in a published paper. Additionally, Simon Ko completed an internship at CyberLink, applying advanced multiple object tracking models and managing sensitive data alongside a research internship at Academia Sinica. Education includes a Master of Engineering in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the University of California, Berkeley, and dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Computer Science and Engineering Science from National Taiwan University. Early studies included a Bachelor of Science in Photonics from National Chiao Tung University.
