Cliff Schmidt is an accomplished leader with extensive experience in technology and corporate responsibility. Currently serving as Managing Director and Head of AI/ML at JPMorganChase, Cliff also holds the position of Managing Director and Head of Product in the same division. Previously, Cliff founded and led AMPLIO, which utilizes technology and social communication to reach low-literate communities, significantly impacting nearly two million individuals. Cliff's background includes roles as Principal Consultant at Symbioss Strategy, Vice President of Legal Affairs at The Apache Software Foundation, and Product Manager at BEA Systems, where Cliff developed open source strategies. Academic credentials include a Bachelor’s degree in Brain and Cognitive Sciences from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology and a Master’s in Computer Science and Engineering from the University of Washington.
