Austin Reiter holds the position of Executive Director (Principal Scientist) at JPMorgan Chase & Co. since January 2024, specializing in Trust & Safety AI ML. In addition, Austin serves as an Adjunct Associate Professor of Computer Science at Columbia University, where a course on Applied Computer Vision has been developed and taught to bridge the gap between academic learning and industry skills. Prior experience includes roles as Principal Applied Scientist at Amazon, Research Scientist at Meta and Facebook, and Senior Research Scientist at Snap Inc. with a focus on applied machine learning. Noteworthy academic achievements include a Ph.D. in Computer Science from Columbia University, where research involved computer vision applications in medical robotics. Austin is also the Founder and Lead Consultant of LSR Consulting Solutions, LLC and has contributed to defense-related computer vision research during tenure at BAE Systems.
