Heiko Kratz has a wealth of experience in engineering and leadership roles within the automotive industry. Heiko began their career at Atlantic Research Corporation in 1996, where they worked in both development and sales engineering roles. In 2001, they became the Manager of Sales & Marketing Europe for the company. Heiko then joined Takata AG in 2005, starting as a Manager in Core Engineering and eventually becoming the Director of Global Engineering. From 2016 to 2018, they served as the Vice President of the Product Safety Group for Europe at Takata AG. In 2018, they transitioned to Joyson Safety Systems, where they initially served as the Vice President and Managing Director. In 2021, they took on their current role as the Vice President of Global Inflator Engineering. Throughout their career, Heiko has demonstrated their expertise and leadership in the automotive industry.
Heiko Kratz completed a degree in Maschinenbau (Mechanical Engineering) at Technische Universität Darmstadt from 1993 to 1996, earning the title of Diplom-Ingenieurin (Dipl.Ing.).
