Swati Madhu, PhD, is an accomplished Project Manager at JoVE, leading a team of 12 writers with a focus on individual growth and timely project completion. Previously, Swati served as a Senior Science Writer, collaborating with the Journal Review team and supervising the coaching and editing of science video scripts. Prior roles included Science Writer, where Swati worked with global scientists to transform manuscripts into video publications. Swati's academic background includes a PhD in Microbiology and extensive research experience as a Junior Research Fellow, developing a fungal infection model and studying fungal virulence factors at The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. Other experiences include roles in quality control and laboratory settings, demonstrating a strong foundation in biotechnology and microbiology.
