Katya Georgieva is a Senior Fire Engineer currently employed at Joule Group since January 2024. Prior to this role, Katya worked at Arup for over seven years, starting as a Fire Engineer and advancing to Senior Fire Engineer. Earlier experience includes a position as a Team Member at Pizza Hut UK & Ireland. Katya's educational background includes an MEng in Structural and Fire Safety Engineering from The University of Edinburgh and an MA in Sports Journalism from Sheffield Hallam University, complemented by a Diploma of Secondary Education in Mathematics and IT from Baba Tonka Secondary School of Mathematics.
