Vance Tran is a seasoned software engineer with extensive experience in web development, particularly within the technology and education sectors. Currently serving as a Staff Software Engineer at Mosaic since June 2017, Vance has contributed to the core Solar and Home Improvement React web application and has taken on various roles, including Frontend Team Lead and Scrum Lead. Prior to Mosaic, Vance served as a Senior Web Developer at the University of California Office of the President, focusing on transforming design concepts into user-friendly web products. Earlier experience includes a role as a Web Developer at UC San Diego, designing websites for numerous campus departments, and freelance web design for local clients. Vance holds a BA in Interdisciplinary Computing and Arts from UC San Diego.
