Phillip Townsend, PE, is a seasoned professional in construction management with extensive experience in the field. Currently serving as the Section Head for Construction Management at Johnson, Mirmiran & Thompson since April 2019, Townsend previously held the role of Manager of CEI at Stewart from August 2016 to April 2019. Prior experience includes positions as Resident Engineer and Assistant Resident Engineer with the North Carolina Department of Transportation (NCDOT) from June 2010 to August 2016, and as a Cooperative Education Student at NCDOT in various capacities from 2008 to 2009. Phillip Townsend holds a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina State University, earned between 2005 and 2010.
